Reader Profile vs. Author Profile: What’s the Difference?

On Reader Meter, you can keep your reader identity separate from your author identity.

Here’s how it works:

• Reader Profile: Private by default. You can use a different name, avatar, and preferences. This is how you explore stories and leave comments.

• Author Profile: Public-facing. This is how readers discover your work, follow you, and buy your stories.

Steps:

1. Go to Profile.

2. Switch between Reader Profile and Author Profiles.

3. Update each with their own name, photo, and bio.

You can beta-read anonymously and still publish under your pen name(s).
