Understanding Reading Consent

When you open a story, you’ll sometimes be asked to give reading consent. Here’s why:

What’s shared with the author:

• Your email (for follow-up).

• Your reading sessions: pages read, completion percentage, and drop-off points.

What’s not shared:

• Personal details or unrelated browsing.

Steps:

1. When prompted, review the consent dialog.

2. Tap Agree if you’re comfortable sharing your reading data.

This feedback helps authors improve stories before release, and gives you a voice in shaping them.
